13/03/2017
So this is more of a reflective session in regards to what I have done specifically, and this has been completing my fourth draft of the EPQ essay report, in which I have sent to sir and am awaiting on further feedback as well as this I'm also awaiting further feedback on my presentation draft -yet the next important matter to attend to is the production of the artifact-which again is coming together slowly, armed with all my equipment and things i need-i believe I am now ready to start on the production of the final piece and begin printing out each part from Photoshop and start incorporating this onto the canvas board, starting from the top and working my way done. I aim to have my first layer complete within the next two weeks and after finishing this, than start layering on top and maybe painting significant areas too.

EPQ ARTIFACT
As it stands, I have completed most certainly 6/9 with my other three A4 pages stated as Works in Progress where I know I need more Darby Photos as again I don't wish to repeat back on myself. So like I said before, its coming together slowly, yet surly which is a good thing for myself. I also need to bear in mind that I need the side gaps filled with additional Darby photos as well to fill the canvas up and than start layering upwards for the satisfying completion of my EPQ artifact.

Personally, I do like how its coming together and fill like the progress, although slowly, is most certainly coming together and answering my question of how easily can we be surveyed. I know that upon the completion of this artifact-the canvas, sketchbook as well as blog work will all come in nicely and show my workings throughout this six month stage of proving how easy it is for us to be surveyed from afar.

PHOTOSHOP SETTINGS :
The main photo of my subject:
Normal
Opacity: 100%
Fill: 100%
The little photos of my subject:
Darken
Opacity: 45%
Fill: 88%

I am happy with these settings and believe that I can start the completion of my artifact for EPQ, for now though its important I keep up to date with gathering as many photographs as I can of my subject.

With the EPQ presentations set to be presented very soon, when we come back after Easter Holidays, I know that the day we break up (4th April 2017) is the day I have to stop taking photos of my subject and use up all the ones I have to complete the remaining three A4 sheets of paper as well as making additional photo mosaics to cover the remaining gaps and spaces on the canvas as well as perhaps layering too to give it more of an effect within itself.

At a foot note, I need to also make sure that report, presentation, production log, as well as sketchbook and bibliography are all up to date and ready for the hand in date of the 28th April 2017.

14/03/2017
On this day, I spent the day on the artifact-effectively gaining fresh photos of my subject in order to finish off the artifact-i calculated that I shall be needed in order for the completion of the artifact:
* 300 photos to finish off the bottom parts
* I would calculate another 300 for the edges, as these wont be proper A4 Sheet standard sizes but will be broken up to cater towards this-I shall estimate this out when I come to measure up my canvas soon to truly know.

So for now, aim to get at least 600 photos of my subject before the 4th April 2017.

600 photos of my subject to go...

I spent time upon my presentation today, whilst also obtaining fresh photos of my subject within the morning-so quickly updating my artifact upon Photoshop. But predominately I spent time in making my presentation a lot better for the second draft to which I shall soon send over to my supervisor to check. I'm finding the creation of the artifact quite time consuming as I want it to be perfect but also to complete so I can start revising from the flash cards so I know what to say.

550 photos of my subject to go...

Morning
Throughout the morning I spent time in changing things I was not happy about regarding my EPQ presentation and believe that by the afternoon I shall more or less be ready to send over to my supervisor.

I also decided to buy a different canvas as I do not like the one I have now due to the edges bending over and not looking symmetrical, and giving the impression that it is quite uneven, so on this Saturday I shall proceed to buy a stronger canvas that is a lot more sturdy in structure. But for now, spend today and Friday tomorrow in acquiring fresh photos of my subject in order to incorporate this within the artifact via Photoshop for the Mosaic to be ready to be printed out and presented upon the board itself.
Additionally, as a way of insurance, I also replicated my artifact documents on each Photoshop file and copied them a version to my files at home, on my school computer and file drive in case I lose the files on my memory sticks, so at least what ever happens I still have my artifact documents and at least 65% of this as I continue to work on my additional three A4 sheets of paper as well as the gaps around the Mosaic to attend to as well.

546 photos of my subject to go...

Afternoon
We had an EPQ study session today in which our coordinator helped guide us through presentation prep and work. As I have more or less completed the majority of my presentation for EPQ, I felt pretty confident with this lesson, yet it was useful in myself obtaining a knowledge what areas would you be expected to pick up the marks from throughout the EPQ presentation in regards towards the AOs.

Using this knowledge I picked up from throughout the session, I was able to apply this new knowledge to reedit over my presentation to help make the presentation stronger

17/03/2017

I have made the decision to start constructing flash cards for my visual aid within the presentation, to provide me with a type of insurance in case I run out of things to say and draw a blank, my main aim is to create these flashcards than read over them everyday in detail until my presentation on the 28th April. That way I have fully informed myself of what I am needing to say, but also gives me more confidence whilst speaking. As my speaking skills are not very good so i want to develop them by researching up EPQ presentations, how they present themselves, and also how to present a piece of work that will be visually engaging for the audiences to keep them interested.

Im workig on EPQ everyday now for the full preparation of the deadlines next month, I aspire to do good within this project, and therefore need to work hard in ordeer to achieve well. So far, I have been focusing upon
